lindsey + garrison. married.

When you meet Lindsey and Garrison, you can't help but become mesmerized by them. They're a beautiful couple through and through. You may remember their striking engagement session on the square in Marietta this year. Ever since, we've been excited to meet them back on the square to celebrate their wedding day! And it was on this particular day, the groom had me welling up before the bride! When I saw him waiting in the church library, he had a spark in his eye and couldn't have been more thrilled to profess his love and zeal for Lindsey and talk about the beautiful new life they were entering. There is something just wonderful about hearing a guy speak unabashedly about his bride (can I get an Amen?!).

But before we get to the groom and his men, we'll take a peek at how my day started off--quiet and peaceful in the bride's childhood home. Many times I find myself starting a wedding day by entering a room full of flourish and activity. While this is a wonderful jumpstart, walking in to see the bride and her sister getting ready together was quite the beautiful paradox. Music playing and a candle glowing in the corner, I got some time to grab detail shots and spend some quality moments with these two lovely ladies before heading to the salon.

Could these gals be any more fabulous? It seriously runs in the family!
Garrison and Lindsey decided to wait and see each other at the alter, so we were able to build in some time for bridal portraits. I'm so glad we did! Lindsey, you are stop-people-in-their-tracks gorgeous!

Ceremony time approached and I am so, so glad the lovely Meagan O'Neal agreed to come assist on this wedding! She's a budding Atlanta wedding photog who I was destined to be friends with as we met to talk about Lindsey and Garrison's day and several hours in a coffee shop whisked by. More than just a helpful hand, she was able to capture some really great looks when I couldn't be in two places at once. These next few shots are some of her beautiful work. I love the unique pre-ceremony shots she got from different vantage points!

I can't say enough great things about Lindsey and Garrison's vendors! The cakes were created by the ever-amazing Mamie of Miss Mamie's, and we were happy to see the Carriage House crew again as they always provide a beautiful (and delicious) setup! And the band. From the second the reception started, Ascension had the Brickyard movin' and groovin' (even the photographers)!

Lindsey and Garrison, what a wonderful day for two of the sweetest people we know! Thanks for letting us capture your wedding! All the best to you in the Lone Star state (and please don't hesitate to call if you're back in dear ol' Georgia)!
