product photography: Atlanta Food Truck Calendar

There's been many an afternoon this fall when Bryan and I have enjoyed dropping by the Atlanta Food Truck Park for some delicious grub. There's usually a new line-up every day, so we're always excited to see what's being served up. And we've come to have our favorites as well:)

Sitting out on picnic tables, meeting other people in the community, listening to live music and getting full on fresh food made with great heart. This is what it's about.

When Ksenia told us she was inspired to create a calendar of hand-painted local food trucks for the byKsenia store, we were all too excited to see the results. And after our recent product shoot, this gal went home with one less calendar because we just had to have one hanging on our wall!

If you're looking for a great gift idea this holiday season for your foodie family member what could be better than a local food calendar from a local artist? The best part is each month you can sample yummy dishes from each featured truck:)

norris family.

Mike and Nicole just became a family only a little over a month ago when they got married in Florida, and they adopted sweet Lilly about a week before our holiday session. Still full of newly wedded bliss and with one very happy puppy in hand, this was one sweet and glowing little family. Add to their shine, the warm sunset over a local tree farm and boy, did we have a great time with these new friends!

I can't wait to design the card they'll send out this year (and I'm glad I don't have to be the one to choose which image since I love so many of them)!

Thanks for such a fun afternoon documenting your first holiday season together, Mike and Nicole! We're happy we got to know you!

wallace family.

We just love catching up with the Wallace family. They always keep us laughing and they have the sweetest spirits. And this year was especially exciting with the addition of a new tiny member! So glad we get the chance to capture this growing group of people.

Thank you, Wallaces, for allowing us to capture this family time for you!

wedding feature: Eco-Beautiful Weddings

If you're taking a break from Black Friday shopping, you'll definitely want to check out the blog dedicated to eco-conscious and sustainable brides and get a few ideas for yourself.

We're thrilled Katie Martin of Eco-Beautiful Weddings featured Zack and Jenny's wedding on her blog today! Not only are they a beautiful couple, they actually had less than one bag of trash gathered from their entire wedding!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! May we continue to be just as grateful every day!

katie + dylan. wedding preview.

Driving up to the Chattahoochee National Forest in North Georgia this past weekend was absolutely beautiful. Or so we thought. Then, we stuck Katie and Dylan right on top of the crunchy leaves and in the midst of the woods being warmed by only the falling sun. Now that's beautiful.

I can't wait to share more photos from this wedding at The Lodge at Copperhead!

lisa + jd married.

As soon as we showed up to the Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center, I knew I was going to love discovering all of the details Lisa and JD created and planned for their wedding day. Plumage of purples, blues and greens adorned the couple, the wedding party and venue. A champagne toast followed their first kiss. And they gave out copies of some of their favorite books as favors to guests.

When you know Lisa and JD, you know the vibrant hues, celebratory custom and stack of good reads represent their personalities so well. They are bold, within themselves and in their love, they enjoy life and they treasure their friends. What an absolutely wonderful day we had capturing these characteristics as they started their new life together!

Immediately following the great toast to conclude the ceremony, the sky set ablaze! We just had to pull the newly weds out by the water for this shot!

At the start of the reception, we fired up the Photo Booth! If you missed the fun post on that, check it out Here!

Following dinner was dancing. This we knew from the schedule we created. What we didn't know was that when Lisa says dancing, she means Dancing! This was so much more than just kicking up your heels--this was art in motion. It was such a treat to watch!

Lisa and JD, thanks so much for allowing us the pleasure of capturing this day for you both! We had a blast!
