Remember our tragic recent hard drive crash? It was during that unscheduled break in our business work flow that we re-fell in love with film and the origins of our craft.

Because of our reignited passion of the visceral nature of film and everything it makes you feel, we began taking some medium format shots during recent weddings and shoots. Not only is the act of making the initial image exciting, but the process of waiting for film to come back from the lab and then excitedly opening these organic moments frozen in time is sheer joy! 

We have some fun announcements to make this fall, and one of them is a little side film project I'm thrilled to have been asked to work on. There's really nothing like it.

We love documenting life! And what is more representative of this than the first few weeks of birth? With all the sweetness and precious innocence a newborn brings into this world, it was a joy to meet Baby Elle and maybe even more fun to see how excited her parents are to finally have her here.

So glad I got to meet up with this family one morning after they got home from the hospital. I can only imagine how fun it's going to be to look back on these photos as this little one grows.
